DENIS HAS FOR SALE: His 1997 Ghibli GT

"Mr. Enrico,

I am the proud owner of this nice example of a 1997 Ghibli GT with CUP specs., (Momo Wheel, Momo Gear shift lever, Speedline CUP wheels, Race-Fuel filler Cap, Eibach CUP suspension, black leather no wood inserts etc.)

She is regularly on the road, with everything in working order !

Sadly at the same time I would like to offer it for sale.

Denis."

Here are the details of my Maserati Ghibli GT:

Left-hand drive.

Chassis No: ZAM336B00*00361836*.

Exterior colour: Blu Franchia (French blue).

Interior colour: Pelle Nera (black leather).

Engine: 2.8-litre AM574.

A 1997 Ghibli GT 2.8 with CUP specs.

It was my 6th Biturbo range car during the last 20 years. I am the 3rd owner of this well maintained car, and did less then 1,000km since purchased in April 1918.

Covered 89,900km so far, with the clutch replaced at the end of 2017, as well as timing belt, water pump etc changed/serviced.

Has 2 aftermarket custom silencers mounted, and comes with 2 used CUP-Silencers which have to be refurbished for further use.

Tyres are at least 90% from new (2018) as well as the brakes (80%).

I have had carried out some additional minor repairs during my time, such as the thermostats, the Oil pressure gauge, replaced some cracked vacuum hoses etc. so the car runs nice with everything in working order.

Nevertheless it is not perfect, but it easily passed the very strict Swiss technical road department checks when I bought it.

The brakes discs and pads are at least 80% from new. The CUP wheels are not leaking much but should be refurbished one day due to some chipping and bad original quality laquer.

Also the lower ball joint from the outer, lower controlling arm at the front right side needs to be replaced as well as the wheel bearing.

As a passionate Biturbo driver, the Ghibli was the car of my dreams finally coming true.

Having 3 other restoration projects running (Biturbo SI & Porsche 924S racing etc.) I sadly had to decide to let it go simply due to lack of time.

Asking price is 25,000 EUR, which is a fair amount considering that everything is running and maintained.
