From Gert in Belgium

"Gert has very kindly sent me some photos of his 'pride and joy', Ghibli Cup #15.

Is it any wonder that so many Maserati enthusiasts are looking out for good clean Ghiblis, especially Ghibli Cups! It's a great car and at the present time represents excellent value - plus it's one of the last Maseratis produced with an engine built in-house at the factory.

Thank you Gert - it's a very nice car!!!

Enrico.

PS: And I think it's far better that any Rolls Royce!!!"

"Hi Enrico,

This is a picture of the Bora prototype displayed at the 1971 Barcelona Motor Show - look at the particular rear lights; this car is supposed to have been destroyed at the MIRA facilities for crash testing.

Regards,

Antonio."

"Hi Enrico,

I'm planning on buying a Ghibli and came across your awesome site.

During the 24 hour races at the Nürburgring in Germany in June 2004 I met this beauty which became my favorite car instantly. I regret not taking more pictures that day. Note the different alloy wheels back and front.

Keep up the good work!

Best Regards,

Jacco."

"Does anyone out there know anything about this car?

Enrico."

"Enrico,

I think this is the same car that is already in your database #361234.

The wheels seem to match?

Cheers Bob."

An Apology from the Webmaster

"Dear Maseratisti,

Now that 2004 is coming to a close, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for continuing to visit my site despite the recent lack of new activity. This is in part due to my rehabilitation following major surgery in Modena last year.

Since my return, I have also been heavily involved in updating the Maserati Club site here in the UK. If you visit the site at www.maseraticlub.co.uk, I am sure that you will find the new content very interesting.

To the enthusiasts who have continued to send me with photos and comments, I extend my warmest thanks.

Finally I would like to wish all of you a VERY HAPPY, PROSPEROUS AND MOST OF ALL HEALTHY NEW YEAR!

Enrico."

From Rossano in Italy

"Ciao Enrico,

Come va tutto bene? ti sei ripreso completamente?

Ci sentiamo presto, saluti,

Rossano."

"Ciao Enrico,

How are you, is everything OK? Are you fully recovered?

Now that the festivities are finally over, I've found a moment to write. I have used this opportunity to send you these photos taken at the Bologna Motor Show two weeks ago. Thanks to Claudio Ivaldi, the new President (of the BCI), we received permission to enter the exclusive Ferrari/Maserati stand and get a closer view of the latest models.

Our trip to Bologna coincided with the election of a new organising committee for the Biturbo Club Italia, and as you already know Claudio has beeb selected as our esteemed new President, so you can expect to hear from him more often.

I hope that your health will allow you to return to Italy quite soon, and who knows, maybe attend a few meetings, if not it will be us who will come and visit you in England.

Hope to hear from you soon, regards,

Rossano."
