From Giorgio in Italy

More photos of the Maserati A6/1500 by Pinin Farina. This car was once owned by Eva Peron and will be on display from Febrary 7 to February 15 2004 at the "Luxury & Yachts Fair" at Verona (Italy).

Giorgio has very kindly sent me images of the original A6 sales brochure for the A6 1500 coupe and cabriolet, the A6 GCS 2000 Sport Competizione, familiarly known as the 'Monofaro' (Single headlamp) and the A6 GCM (Monoposto).

The brochure demonstrates that even when their heads told them that production of the A6 1500, as their first 'production' GT was the right way forward, their heart were still with motor racing!

From Mirko in Switzerland

"Hi Enrico and Hi Maserati enthusiasts.

This is what I recently found on the net:

Check out www.richard5.net/maserati/

For appearances of Maseratis in the movies...

My favorites are 'The Godfather part III' where Al Pacino is picked up in Sicily by a Quattroporte and of course, 'La Piscine' (1969) with Alain Delon, Romy Schneider and Maurice Ronnet; one of the most stylish movies ever, powered by the appearance of a Ghibli... Alain Delon driving it along the coast of St. Tropez...

I've got this film on video and could watch it over and over again.

Salue,

Mirko."

From Erik in Norway

"Hello Enrico!

How are you? After changing the timing belt last weekend, I just had to start her up. It's taken outside of the garage. Waiting for the summer and warm weather!

Best regards,

Erik."
